Eagles of Death Metal Presents Pigeons of Shit Metal
new full-length LP.

Mustached,
rock and roll minstrel Jesse Hughes and some very special guests
help weave his blue grass metal with a whole lot of cover songs.
The Eagles of Death Metal Presents Pigeons of Shit Metal
contains ten tracks - all covers from such acclaimed heavy metal
and alternative bands such as Guns N Roses, AC/DC, the Ramones,
the Pixies, Love and Rockets, Queens of the Stone Age, the Distillers
and more with Hughes and crew performing unique interpretations
of these classic songs as only the Pigeons of Shit Metal can!
The limited edition LP comes in a special reverse board jacket
with cover art by Josh Homme (aka Baby Duck) along with a full
color inner sleeve containing artwork and linear notes helping
to explain everything just in case you're confused.
The vinly-only LP comes in five different colors - traditional
black vinyl, glow-in-the-dark vinyl,
neon pink vinyl, cyan blue vinyl,
and milky clear vinyl with splatter
vinyl.
The run is limited to 500 copies. Ordering 2 records ensures
that you will receive two different colored vinyl LPs chosen
at random.
There is a special "Glow-In-The-Dark
Set"
available for purchase. This set includes the Pigeons of Shit
Metal LP in three different vinyl colors - neon pink, cyan blue,

Thelma and the Sleaze's new full-length LP
Somebody's Doin' Something
Last Hurrah Records is proud to announce the upcoming release
of Thelma and the Sleaze's new full-length LP Somebody's
Doin' Something. The band's
first full-length album, will be a limited edition, candy colored
12-inch record containing 11 songs. The 12-inch vinyl comes
in three different candies:
JOLLY RANCHER, JAW
BREAKER, and COTTON CANDY each
a mix of oqaque and translucent colors, limited to 500 copies.
The record was recorded at Rancho de La Luna in Joshua Tree,
California under the watchful eye of Dave Catching, and
includes several guest appearances. Besides Catching,Britney
Howard from Alabama Shakes, Jade Payne from Aye Nako,
and Dale Spalding from Canned Heat are a few of the guests
on the record.
Nashville's
Thelma and the Sleaze blend trashy Southern rock with post riot-girl
grievances. The result is a surprisingly upbeat heaviness laced
with dirty jagged bits of punk and country that cut and sting
when least expected. Despite the band's love of daisy dukes
and hot tops, their music is explicitly feminist and often packs
a punch full of queer sensibilities. With more than a nod to
their Nashville home turf, the Sleaze serves up a low-brow,
high-octane performance.
Front woman and guitarist Lauren Gilbert's cheeky between-song
banter and Southern drawl add both humor and authentic charm
to the group's overall appeal. With a relentless touring schedule
most bands would simply call insanity - such as their
recent "Kandyland" tour, which had the band playing
a different Nashville venue every night for a month; Thelma
and the Sleaze are determined to bring their special brand of
rock and roll nationwide.

Optimism Disorder is Sinner Sinners new limited

Last Hurrah Records
is proud to announce the upcoming release of Sinner Sinners'
new full-length LP Optimism Disorder. The band's
third album, the vinyl of Optimism Disorder will be a
limited edition, colored 12-inch record containing 11 songs

Sinner
Sinners is a Dutch-French ultrasonic fusion formed by married

Mudda
Fudda is earthlings? new limited edition, full-length
vinyl LP on Last Hurrah Records. The earthlings?'s third studio
album, Mudda Fudda combines desert rock sensibilities,
outer space adventure and modern psychedelics to create a hybrid

Described as "fuzz" rock, the
Truckfighters tread the trenches of heaviness somewhere between

of raw energy when touring, closing in on 400 gigs across four

Star
& Dagger plays New Orleans' Voodoo Fest on the Le Carnival Stage!
Friday, October 26th 3:45 p.m. That's right, it takes three coasts to
make one Star & Dagger. Check out the article on Nola.com.
Last Hurrah had a great time in NYC with Star & Dagger. The band
played two shows. A secret gig at The Manderley Bar in The McKittrick
Hotel on October 11th with the band playing in costume.
And a show with the Chrome Cranks at The Mercury Lounge on Saturday
night, October 13th.
Actress Missi Pyle showed up at both gigs, showing her love for
the band.

Wednesday, June 6, Decibel Magazine premiered Lost Tracts of
Time by -(16)-
on the Deciblog
section of the magazine's
website. The web post streamed the three songs on the upcoming
vinly only EP release accompanied by an interview with singer Chris
Jerue specificaly about these unreleased tracks, recorded during
the Zoloft Smile sessions. Prepared for vinyl by former White
Zombie guitarist J. Yuenger,
the three lost songs have been born again with renewed fury for
enhanced listening.
Lost
Tracts of Time includes midnight forest cover and sleeve artwork
designed by Lindsey Kuhn.
The vinyl is midnight sky colored mixed with opaque and translucent
hues. The A side of the record showcases the three songs at 45
RPM while the entire B Side is an etching by Kuhn.
The run
is limited to 500 copies.

Friday, March 13, Last Hurrah Records got to participate in a SXSW pre-party
in Austin, Texas at Emo's East. Our Art Director
Lindsey Kuhn
had his 20th anniversary of doing silkscreened rock
posters,
doing a gig poster, t-shirt, and skateboard
deck design for the show. There was also a skate ramp, half pipe
in the house, open to the public! Oh, and I forgot to mention that the
show was free. So you could skate, thrash, or drink (but you had to
pay for that)... Better still, the event featured live performances
from High on Fire,
Venomous Maximus,
Eagle Claw, Iron Tongue and Star & Dagger! Star & Dagger
got to open for High on Fire, totally making the girls night! Here's
a few random photos from inside Emo's East.
Last Hurrah Records is excited to announce the addition of Gene Trautmann
( Queens of the Stone Age) as the new drummer for Star & Dagger,
along with Dave Catching (Eagles of Death Metal) on guitar.
